I know a client-facing professional who was managing communication of a major error. She was exhausted.
ChatGPT was able to muster emails with the empathy and positive attitude needed to maintain the relationship. I was so pleased for her.
She had a new role only a few weeks later, a job search aided with AI as well.
I’d argue AI can shoulder emotional labor there, too.
Applications should be enthusiastic and confident — but that may not be how an average job searcher feels as they grind resumes and letters over weeks and months.
