1️⃣ I’m four months into freelancing and loving it. My clients are fantastic, the work is fun, I feel respected, and I’m learning so much. I’m so happy! I’m not fully booked yet; one or two more agency contracts would be amazing. If you’re looking for support, let’s talk!
2️⃣ I’ve been consulting with small businesses on social media, generative AI, and YouTube. It feels great to share marketing best practices with motivated people who want actionable next steps. If you’re tackling DIY marketing and need advice, I’d love to connect!
3️⃣ I’m soaking up everything YouTube. I’m working toward monetizing my own channel (current: 120/1,000 subs and 66/4,000 watch hours), and along the way, I’m learning the ins and outs of YouTube Studio as a CMS. Plus, exploring a new analytics dashboard is just plain fun.
🔥 Hot take on social media: Zero-click content is exhausting to create. Platforms want to keep users in their ecosystem, which makes adapting content a challenge. This is where thoughtful strategy—not just generative AI—makes a difference.
Each platform serves a unique purpose, and the KPIs for conversions aren’t the same across the board.
Instead of spreading yourself thin, choose one or two platforms where your customers are already spending their time, and aim to win there. Build a content calendar tailored to each platform—cross-posting the same content is a dead tactic.
One way to make it manageable? Plan content around weekly or monthly themes. That way, content aligns and “sings the same song,” but crafted in the specific “tune” of each platform. 🎶
🧶 You know what’s not AI? My hat. I made it.
