How to Kill Bed Bugs

Upon entering a hotel, motel or hostel room, put your luggage on a luggage rack or in a bathtub. Inspect the room for bed bugs. Look particularly close at the bed, the headboard, lamps and nightstands—the items and furniture closest to the bed. Look for live bed bugs and other signs of bed bugs.

Some travelers will bring their own bed linens to make themselves feel more comfortable about their sleeping arrangements.
