Laundry
Nearly all exterminators will recommend extensive laundering. Because heat can kill bed bugs, washing all clothes, linens and other fabrics in hot water and drying in a hot dryer for at least 20 minutes is highly effective in the process of getting rid of bed bugs.
After laundering, store as much of it as possible in plastic bags or plastic containers until the exterminating follow-ups are complete. All of that laundry can be expensive and a hassle, and this will keep the work and cost to a minimum.
