Bed bug bites are allergic reactions
Bed bug bites are actually allergic reactions to bed bug saliva. Bed bugs use their saliva to numb the skin so it can bite and escape before a person can notice. Some people are allergic and others aren’t. This is how two people can sleep in the same bed and one person gets bed bug bites while the other doesn’t.
